Our Response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic

At Laurel Hill Automotive & Tire we understand that this is a very unprecedented and challenging time for both our nation and the entire world. We wanted to take a moment to update you on how we are responding to this crisis.

We plan to continue to stay in operation as long it is feasible for both our employees and our customers. We have a duty to perform to ensure that all of our customers have reliable vehicles for them to get back and forth to work now and in the future. While most businesses are closed, Connecticut has deemed auto repair as essential and that we can remain open for business.

If you are planning to bring your car to us for service but don’t feel comfortable coming inside, no worries! You can drop your keys, info, and payment (if paying by cash) in our key drop box and we will be glad to assist you with minimal contact! If you are not paying with cash we do take payments over the phone and can coordinate you picking your vehicle up in a safe and clean manner!

As you are aware (or if you are new and don’t know) our customer facing area is rather small so it can get crowded quickly. As a result and in an effort to maintain social distancing in our waiting and office areas, we request that as of Monday April 6th, 2020 that customers are to drop their vehicles off with us and leave them while we get them repaired. If you must stay with the vehicle and have no means of transportation we will work with you on keeping you safe, but all are strongly encouraged to make appointments and to drop off the vehicles with us, we will call you once the repairs are completed and arrange for the safe retrieval of your vehicles!

We have guided our staff to start employing more safety measures when handling customer vehicles such as using Nitrile Gloves when working on vehicles and sanitizing touch points before and after the repairs.

Today and always, we will remain committed to living up to our businesses values of doing the right thing, making car repair affordable, and putting safety and people first.

We will continue to monitor the situation and developments and will take action as necessary to support the health and safety of our customers, employees, and the greater community.
